We are active in Mission Green Project. The project in Nakyessanja continues to flourish with more trees being planted whenever seedlings are sourced. There has been follow up checks on this and other sites where trees have previously been planted

The Rotary Club of Bunga is happy to be part of the 2019 Rotary Cancer Run aimed at raising over 1 billion in funds for for the construction of two cancer bunkers at Nsambya Hospital in Kampala.
Preparations for the event were launched by the Speaker of Uganda Parliament Rebecca Kadaga who pledged Parliament's commitment to raising funds from legislators for the cause. The Rotary Cancer Run will take place on August 25. It will start and end at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds with participants running 21km, 10km and 5kms respectively.
The President of Rotary International for the year 2019-20, President Mark Daniel Maloney (L), has chosen the theme of the ‘Rotary connects the world’ to be the thrust of our humanitarian efforts for the year. In Uganda we are led in this effort by District 9211 Governor, Rotarian Stephen Mwanje.
Active Club Directorates
The Club strategic plan has been drafted and discussed with members awaiting final approval, our appreciation to AG Naka for her support in the process. The Club has continued to register improved accountability through better and proper financial management and recording of all transactions.
Members’ dues for the previous Rotary year were paid. Whereas some club leaders have attended COTS and PETS training, our members should be encouraged to embrace training available through various courses on offer as well as other tools and seminars.
